Counseling Services is a private counseling agency accredited by The Joint Commission (TJC) with outpatient facilities throughout Northeast, North Central and Central Arkansas.
Since our establishment in 2000, we have taken the unique approach of providing services in the client's home and school, as well as the outpatient clinic.
Families, Inc.
offers a variety of therapeutic services for all ages on an individual, couple, family and group basis.
Through counseling, individuals receive emotional support from a licensed professional, who helps the client work to resolve conflicts with others, understand feelings such as anxiety and depression, and try out new solutions to old problems.
The length of treatment, of course, depends on the complexity and severity of problems.

Summary for QBHP Technician The QBHP Technician provides behavior management services through the local school district and assists with the identification of students who are in need of services.
The QBHP Technician will establish a supportive client relationship with the goal of empowering clients and their support network to actively participate in mental health treatment.
The QBHP Technician will provide clinical interventions to reinforce, practice, and model therapeutic techniques and treatments as directed by the Mental Health Professional (MHP).
The QBHP Technician is not responsible for supervision of other staff.
Travel is required.
Details Coordinates services and communicates outcomes with school faculty and staff, Families, Inc.
school-based staff, and other agencies.
Makes necessary referrals and serves as liaison with school staff.
Conducts individual or group activities such as classroom work/observation, social skills, training, and coaching designed to assist students in meeting behavioral goals.
Attends Families, Inc.
trainings on and researches behavior management techniques.
Maintains relationships with and sharing appropriate information with school staff.
Upon faculty request, assists in classrooms by providing interventions to students exhibiting behavior problems, whether individually or in a group setting.
Completes the necessary training to become certified as a Qualified Behavioral Health Provider (QBHP).
Provides timely documentation to support QBHP services rendered and provides written reports as required by other agencies such as DCFS, legal system, etc.
Builds support network around client by working with authorized collateral sources such as parents, teachers, other community agencies as appropriate.
Schedules QBHP Supervision and Observations as outlined by company policy.
Meets productivity as outlined by company policy.
Documents all QBHP Supervision and Observation in Credible to be reviewed and signed by MHP.
Review Caseload Compliance QBHP report at a frequency that will ensure clients are up to date on all compliance issues and are tiered appropriately for QBHP services.
Testifies in court as required.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements EDUCATION High school diploma or GED required.
A bachelor's degree in psychology, sociology or a related field is preferred; an associate degree is acceptable.
EXPERIENCE At least one year of work experience in a human services field is preferred.
JOB SKILLS Required:
The QBHP Technician shall meet the definition of a Qualified Behavioral Health Provider as defined in the standards for Arkansas Medicaid Providers in the State of Arkansas The QBHP Technician must be able to:
1) Identify problems, collect data, establish facts, then communicate these findings to the MHP.
2) Read, analyze, interpret, and follow treatment plans.
3) Document client sessions succinctly and accurately.
4) Must have excellent spelling and grammar skills.
5) Must have excellent computer skills.
The successful QBHP Technician will effectively:
1) Maintain client confidentiality in accordance with Families, Inc.
quality assurance guidelines, policies, and procedures, 2) Communicate, work, and interact effectively with clients, their support structure, school faculty and administration, and staff.
3) Must have strong organizational skills enabling the establishment of an efficient daily/weekly/monthly work schedule based on the client's treatment plan, session frequency requirements, client's severity, and availability.
