Our childcare center is in search of qualified educators to help monitor and lead activities throughout the day.
Help kids engage in tasks and games designed to promote problem solving skills and cooperation, and assist them in working with others to resolve conflicts through age appropriate instruction.
This job will help you develop excellent skills and techniques that can benefit you in both your personal life and in future careers in child development.
We are a holistically driven facility focused on learning through nature based play, and open ended conversations.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or Equivelent Continuing education is required Ability to operate basic technology Why apply? -Child care Experience or experience in a child related field is recommended but not required.
-High School Diploma or GED is required.
-Criminal, FBI and Child Maltreatment background checks are performed and required.
-Child Development Associate or AA/BA degree in a child related field preferred, but not required.

-Adult to child ratios per classroom are 1:

-Locally owned and operated -Hours of availability must be 6am or 7am to 6pm Monday through Friday -Part Time hours are available Responsibilities Developing and encouraging age-appropriate learning activities to challenge each child individually in the classroom, and meet their educational needs.
Guide socialization to assist the children in learning basic skills such as communication, conflict resolution, manners, and sharing.
Help teach children how to reach goals for achievement with practical life skills:
carrying an open top cup, balance, scissor snipping, teeth brushing, pencil grip, holding a utensil, and even tying their shoes Maintaining a safe environment by always monitoring the children for health matters as well as behavioral or emotional issues and reporting concerns to management to communicate with parents Ensuring children are learning positive behaviors and providing guidance through positive discipline and redirection Meeting every child's basic needs such as setting schedules and routines, grooming, feeding, changing diapers, cleaning rooms, and sanitizing toys Assist the children in exploring new interest such as art, music, sports, dance, nature exploration, and even possible hobbies.
Communicate the Childs enjoyments with the parents.
Always working with parents through open communication to help the children progress towards goals To be successful working as an Early Childcare Professional, you must be empathetic to all the children's needs in your room including emotional needs.
Childcare Professionals should be caring and detail oriented.
Childcare Professionals should be prepared to meet the physical demands of the classroom and have an understanding of childhood development.
Most importantly, an Early Childhood Education should be passionate about children and making a positive impact in every child's life that walks through their doors.
